Chord Builder does not accept C11 chord name. In Display Preferences I have checked c9sus to display as C11 but this isn't working either. If I enter c9sus it changes it to c7sus.

Also there's no way to enter an Add9 chord (e.g. chord with FACG)
Chris,

What version of BIAB are you using?

I'm a big fan of c9sus/c11 and it's been entering fine for me. I just tried it in both BIAB 64-bit and 32-bit (version 2019) and it worked.

Regards,
Noel
Also, BIAB doesn't do an add9 chord exactly. You have to enter it as F2, for example. Where the 9 (or 2) falls in the chord is based on where the RealTrack artist played it and which inversion was played.

However, in looking at resulting MIDI notes (using a MIDI style), it appears to mainly be a 9, not a 2. That being said, if you enter an Fsus2, BIAB will convert it to an F2 (or an Fadd9, if you will). However, the problem is that in an F2, the "3" of the chord also gets played. Technically, a sus2 chord plays the "2" in place of the "3"; just like a sus4 chord plays the "4" in place of the "3". So BIAB doesn't support a true sus2.

But if you want something close to Fadd9, you'll just have to enter F2. That's the BIAB convention. Maybe one day we'll see a change.
