currently using biab

hope to play with a drummer tomorrow evening.
would like to bring some backing tracks without drums

took some of my arrangements and muted the drum part.
when I play in biab they play as i like
2 bar click intro, then drums go mute... perfect.

when I render the .wav file (single track, mono) the click track intro disappears.
i would really like it to stay.

i have checked the box in the Render to Audio dialog box to Include the 2 bar lead in and the drums lead in.

Any easy solution here?

Found an answer that gets the job done.

Don't mute the drummer in the mixer
Mute the drummer in the song settings (F5)

Then the output is what I'm looking for .
