After compiling a song I usually print a lead sheet for my alto sax. The concert key is then transposed to Eb key for the sax in the lead sheet. When I change the lead sheet to print it out for the sax does this change the global settings to the Eb key? I find this to be the problem. When I open another song the global settings tells the system to transpose. The trouble is if I want to print out a song for the other concert members of the band, I must always check the transposition.
Yes, that's how it works.

Thanks. I will just have to always check.
As Bob said, you always have to check.

I think this should be saved with the song, not be a global setting.

At one point, after being burned again, I remember asking in the Wishlist for a warning message when loading BIAB that a transposition was in effect. I remember they did it. But I'm not sure it's still a feature and I need to run a test.
Yes, the warning is still operating with my version. I have the latest version of Audiophile with all the updates.

I get the warning whether I am running the 32 or 64 bit version. Although I must confess I am not sure if you are supposed to run both versions.
