Hello Thomas,

If by "Internal MIDI sound" you mean you have midi instrument tracks in your song but you don't hear them play back:

Check that you are using the CoyoteWT as your Default DXi. This is found in Options | MIDI/Audio driver settings ... towards the middle right of the dialog. You also want to ensure both "use vst/dxi synth" and "re-route MIDI to default DXi" are enabled.

*If you have a different VST/DXi selected there like SampleTank - that can cause issues.

If by "Internal MIDI sound" you mean you don't hear sound when you enter notes in your Notation Window or use the Chord Builder - that's controlled by the Thru channel.

To hear those sounds you want to make sure you are using a) the Microsoft GS Wavetable b) the CoyoteWT as your DXi and c) your audio drivers set to MME (not ASIO!).

If that doesn't resolve the issue, please shoot us an email at support@pgmusic.com and we'll do some further troubleshooting!

Hi Alyssa

Thanks for your prompt response.

I had ASIO as audio driver and setting it to MME did solve the problem.
Cannot understand why that would have changed. It worked ok in build 623.

Checking Realband which worked ok in 625 revealed MME as the setting.

Is this to say that ASIO is incompatible with BIAB or in the combination with the soundcard?

cheers

HI
Asio does work with in combination with a sound card internal or external.

But most, almost all, Asio drivers only work with one program at a time.
When you are running biab are you running any other audio program at the same time
Like maybe a daw, as you would if using the plugin.
So you have to run one program on a different sort of driver.
