A few days ago, I manually entered the chords and the melody of a tune called «The Sweetest Sounds» as a Bossa Nova.

The MGU file is only 6 KB.

When I start the song from the Chord Sheet Window everything works fine and I even can switch to the Notation Window after a few bars.

However when I start from the Notation Window BB “freezes”. Then the program does not respond at all and I cannot even close BB the regular way.

The style I have used is _BOSAMET.STY with an additional 708: Guitar.

I use BB V 2019 (632) in the 32-bit version on a WIN 10 HP laptop and have never encountered this problem before.

I use a Roland MD-50 as my sound output unit and have done so for a long time.
Any suggestions?

Did you do Return to Factory Settings? It’s always the first thing to try if something in BIAB stops working that used to be OK.

Should we infer from your post title that this only happens on the one song but not on any other?

This is the only song this has happened with (so far), but it is also the latest tune I have entered.
