Moving the Soloist Directory to another hard drive [Resolved] - 11/14/19 10:52 AM
I keep my RealTracks and RealDrums on a separate "mechanical" 7200 rpm hard drive (thanks to Rharv for that tip) as it speeds up regenerations and saves space on my main SSD C drive. My main programs are all on the SSD.
Based on another post today, I took a look at my C drive and under the BB directory, I see the Soloist sub-directory which is over 13Gb and contains some 4100 files.
Can this be moved to my "mechanical" HD and placed as a another sub-directory along with the RealTracks and RealDrums sub-directories in the BB directory on that HD?
Do I have to "point" BIAB and RB to that soloist directory the way that you do for the RealTracks and RealDrums when they are not where BIAB / RB expects them to be?
Would this in anyway effect how updates and yearly upgrades are handled?
Appreciate your comments, insights and advice.
