Seasons greetings.

I bought Band In A Box 2020 pro version today and installed it along with the Pro RealTracks 1 to 6.

I also bought RealTracks set 349 with a view to creating some fiddle backing tracks that sounded like this (using my own chord sequences):

However when I installed it and tried to load a style from set# RT 349 I get this bunch of errors:

What am I doing wrong here? Do I need to buy yet more stuff to get it to work?

Thanks in advance.
Are you running from drive V:\ or is Biab install on C:\
What drive did you install the RealTracks and Drums ?
Nothing really. A Style is just a list of musicians that are going to play in your song. The Style is not really tied to the RT set. If you pull up a style you may not have all the RTs to populate the style. What you need to do is add those instruments one at a time into BIAB.
If it was me, you paid $129 for Pro, I'd call PG or chat and tell them the issue and ask if you can upgrade to the Ultra Pak for the difference that way you'll have everything.
I agree about upgrading. and its not that PG Music is being underhnad - you can do a lot with the pak you already have but i did what you did and very quickly decided to upgrade - PG Music let me do that for the difference whilts the sale was still on.

If you look at BIAB - and if you're like me - you'll find a lot of stuff you won't use. I can't see me using a jazz style when all I need is pop, country, celtic and some world styles. But its better to have everything of the styles you want rather than find you haven't got something you'd like to hear and see you can't because you don't have it.

You can buy some bits separately but the best value is to buy the lot when there's the sale on - like now!

as i say, its not a ploy to get you to spend more money. what you have will make a lot of music but PG Music produce a wide range of styles and realtracks and the more you have in your chosen genre the more you'll find your musical horizons expand.

and PG Music sales staff are always helpful - call or email

Don't neglect the style categories you don't create in. You may not care for a particular category, but there are some great single instrument replacements to be found.
More specific to this point, there were in the past certain controls specified for what RT's you needed in order to fully satisfy a given RealStyles Pak. Folks were reporting that they were purchasing RealStyle Paks which were of no use to them. But I am afraid that it was a bit complicated and perhaps in this case the OP fell into an old crack in the system.

Or perhaps the RealTrack directory is not set properly and the program simply can not find the realtracks. This was asked above but we have not seen a confirmation.

Otherwise, this is a complex package to buy for a newbee so best to ask a lot of questions here in the forum or call sales/support.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

I thought the style that came with the set would use those tracks ???
To the best I can tell I went to the style picker and looked at all of the #349 Styles. Some do use RTs that are part of another RT set so If you don't have those odd RTs you'll get that message.
