When I bring a midi file into the melody track, I can't seem to adjust the volume with the mixer's volume slider.
Could anyone enlighten me on how to do this.

Go into the piano roll, select melody track, up the top select Control > Volume
look down the bottom, right click > Select All Graphical events > delete.
