hello

scenario

run mixcraft 8 pro

open midi file
open bb daw on an instrument track
set chords tempo bars in bb daw and generate.

drag drum track into mixcraft audio track(this works fine

go back to the bb daw select a new drum track, generate and drag into mixcraft.

my problem is that both drum tracks are the same.

the drum track name changes in the bb daw but when i drag to mixcraft it drags the same track as the first.(see images)

am i doing this correctly?
any advice /tips please.
thanks.

Meant to put in bb daw forum.

Try going to C:/bb/BBPlugin/SavedTracks and delete the files there. Regenerate and see what happens. IFRC I had to do that, but that was some time ago.

Note this assumes that your bb folder is on the C:/ drive. If not just change the C:/ to whatever drive bb is on.

Good luck.

If you definitely hit the + > Generate, after selecting SurfPop drums then it's a bug.

thanks for your response.

i deleted the saved tracks in the plugin but i still have same problem.
i used the clear renders in the bb plugin and also tried going to the plugin folder .
i am still trying different things.

what does "IFRC" mean?

I just tried it and I'm getting the same results.
There was a lot of issues like that with the naming so I will let them know.

update.

the stuff on my original post still happens , ive tried and tried.
this only happens on the drum track, the instrument tracks change like they should.

tried using the other tracks for drums in the plugin and it generates but still leaves the original track , ie..guitar, bass or whatever instument is there.

it seems to be just the drums that dont change anything.

i did rebuild the drums in the drum picker.

just gotta keep trying i suppose.

Just tried it and got the same results, so it's a bug.

That is another arthritic finger typo. It should read IIRC, meaning if I remember correctly.

Apparently I didn't!

On a lighter note (we all need one) it could have meant: "I Forgot to Remember Correctly" grin
