Hello everyone!

I am a new user to band in a box stuck with an issue for my backing tracks. I do not know how to adjust the levels of sound for different sections of the song e.g. a jazz backing track that needs to go softer for 16 bars, as well as a song that needs the bass to be softer than the piano and drums throughout the entire song. Could someone pretty please help me in the right direction to learn this!!

Welcome to the forums

The overall volumes for each track are adjusted by the sliders on the mixer panel.

To reduce volume on a track for a specific range of bars use Bar Settings. These are accessed by right-clicking on the chord sheet and then clicking on the menu. To use this you'll need to set the new volume for the track on the bar that you want it to start and then re-set the volume back to normal on the bar after the section.
