I m getting incredibly long download times on the new update 811
Has been flipping between 2 days and 8hrs after over 39 mins still saying mostly 7 or 8 hrs.
My internet download speed is 19 Mbps
Surely not that busy.

Yes indeed. I'm superfast fibre 300mb per second. It's telling me 4hrs to download a 320mb file. For me that should be about 6 seconds.
What a joke. Maybe it's timed to finish Christmas day.
same for me it is between 6 and 15 kbs

Also one of the new 8th styles is mis-labled.

After 4 and ½ HRS still only got 200 mg. so I have aborted and tried again on my main Pc .
Unfortunately it is still reporting time remaining between 2days and 8or 9 hrs.
So some thing a bit odd with the connection to uk it seems.
So far have 7.2 /320MB 14hrs left.

Yes the alternate link was excellent. I have GIG speed and the normal link was at 5 to 6 hours alternating. The link you posted, I got is about 6 seconds!
Perhaps, someone who is having this problem with the previous link, could run this command at a command prompt and send me your results:

The original link is still slow, 7hrs to download. The one above works great and the DL finished in less than 1min. Here's a tracert. Location Sydney, Australia.

No issues here with the first link, then again - it's late in the evening
Yep, still a problem here in South Carolina this morning (Dec24th) On my crummy AT&T 30Mbps download speeds, the original download link estimated over 19 hours to download the file.
On the alternate link that Andrew posted the download time was less than 2 minutes.
Thanks for posting that Andrew...I was ready to give up on the newest update.

Here in US Central Time Zone, the original link alternated between 14 hours and 2 days for download completion - then self-canceled, noting "network problems". The alternate link was fine - downloaded in less than 30 seconds. Time tried original link three times: 1:06 pm; 1:11 pm; and 1:22 pm. Alternate link downloaded at 1:27 in 30 seconds with no issues.
EDIT: It took this message almost 2 minutes to post after clicking onto the "submit" tab. My Internet speed clocked at 67 mps.
