Thanks Pipeline for the heads up. But, not too load. Pianobook is a bit of a secret in order to keep the riffraff to a minimum.

Actually, today is the 3rd birthday of Pianobook. Happy Birthday Pianobook.

And more importantly this is the 88th day of the year, happy #pianoday​

So the video does a good job at explaining how this works. But here is a bit more perspective. First this is generally an alternative to the Kontakt Player or full Kontakt host. Many of the samples (all of them are free) in PianoBook required the full $$ Kontakt 5 or 6 to play them. So this is now a new free alternative for playing the libraries.

There are many samples in Decent Sampler format in Pianobook. Here is the newest. It is Pianobook entry #500 listed today!



A warning to those who have not gone down the rabbit hole with Pianobook libraries. Once you get hooked there is no going back. So be sure to invest in a big harddrive. Enjoy.
