I've seen several videos showing a BB backing tract playing with chords and lyrics showing the song progression . How easy is this to do in the current 2021 BB(not making the video, just the lyrics under the chords as a follow along)

There are few different ways to enter lyrics into Band-in-a-Box: note based lyrics, bar based lyrics, and the Big Lyrics window. In the 2021 version if you enter lyrics into the bar based lyrics layer, those lyrics will also show in the Big Lyrics window.

To enter Bar lyrics, go to Ch. Display | Layer | Bar Lyrics. Then click the lyrics area above the bars and type your lyrics.

To get the bar based lyrics to render correctly size color wise, right click chord sheet > Display Options choose bar lyric font on the Chord font drop down over on the right and the color on the drop down top left.
