Have, for the first time, tried using ‘Select Guitar / Bass Amp Plugin’ in connection with a Realtrack. It results in random ‘white-noise’ effect, lasting for about two notes. Effect can be heard on attached .mp3 at around 8 second mark – it is not subtle! When attached BIAB song is run ‘live’, effect can occur on any bar.

Have tried different Realtracks, plugins, styles, audio drivers (MME, ASIO & WAS) and checked it is operating at 16 bit 44.1 KHz. ‘Return to Factory Settings’ (both ‘Most’ and ‘All’) makes no difference.

Wonder if any fellow BIAB user could check the track on their system to see if they have the same problem please?

Please note: guitar sound is deliberately very distorted by the plugin. Test song file needs '.txt' suffix renamed to '.mgu'. Build 842

Alan,

The amp simulator plugin you're using is in demo mode and needs to be reauthorized.

Note I listened to the MP3 but did not download the song file.

Thanks for the info. Will sort out authorisation. Never occurred to me that any plugin listed in BIAB would need it!

Good catch. It works fine on my machine.
