Seems the push chord with shot is not working (at least with the JSWINGP style with Real Tracks). I am trying to do "Moanin'," which has a shot on beat 3 and the last half of 4 (in the 1st full measure (and other places in the tune)). No matter what I try, the second shot will not occur on the last half of 4. It comes closest if I don't push beat 4 (chord settings under Song options). If I push beat 4 at all, it happens practically BEFORE beat 4. What's the issue/trick?

doesn't 'push' mean play early? to get a chord on the second half of beat 4 wouldn't you need a push on a shot in beat 1 of the next bar?

and would you need to enter a rest on beat 4 so BIAB doesn't start playing on beat 4 after the shot and clash with the push?

maybe some of the BIAB gurus can help as i'm not sure

Yes, you are right. I was playing word games, thinking "push" was later and "pull" would be earlier (although, there is no "pull" option). It works as it should. Thanks!
