I have copied a section of melody into the Soloist track using the Copy Special feature. This copies the entire track.

Is it possible to:

1. Copy just a number of measures to from Melody to Soloist.

2. Transpose the copied notes in the Soloist track.

1: It is not possible to copy part of a track, however it is very easy to edit the Soloist track after copying the track - simply use the Piano Roll to select the notes you don't want and delete them.

2: To transpose the soloist track, go to the Soloist menu and choose Edit Soloist Track > Transpose > Transpose Soloist Part.

You should be able to do it using the Utility tracks:
