2 problems
1. I have for hours been trying to change the visual count in.
I have been using the same, just the visual, not audible for years, which is 1 2 1234.
I select 1234 1234 but it will not change. I have saved it in preferences.
2. I record a horn part in the first 16 bars of a song,(recording stops at bar 16) from my keyboard via a Yamaha MG10XU interface. It records and works perfectly. But, at bar 17 the output volume automatically decreases for everything.

The first thing I'd do is to save my preferences and then to return to factory settings. Both of these commands are under the Options menu. Try returning to "MOST" preferences first. If that doesn't work, then try "ALL". The "ALL" option will need you to reconfigure your Audio and MIDI drivers.

If that doesn't work, make sure that you are running BIAB with the latest update. The version that's installed is found under "Help | About band in a box". The latest is build 845 if you are running BIAB 2021.

1. Saved preferences.
2. I am running BIAB 2021 ver 845
3. Restored MOST factory settings.
4. Restored ALL factory settings.
5. Tried to change visible (only) count in to 1234 1234
6. Does not change.
The following are the settings i have for Count In etc
Drums count in. (this song only) It is greyed out but it does change the data and stays grey
Drum count in. (all songs)
Allow lead in bars (all songs) Ticked
Play lead in even if entro present. Ticked
1 bar lead in Empty
Lead in type Count-in (white background. NOT greyed out)
Audible lead in Empty
Volume 64
Instrument Side stick (37) greyed out but will change data
Pattern 1234 1234 greyed out but can change data
Smart lead in Empty
Lead in drum count if drums muted Ticked
Lead in Only, Center Works in Center 150-800 200 in box
Audible metronome None (in box. Box is white background. Not greyed out)
THE VISIBLE COUNT IN WILL NOT CHANGE FROm 1 2 1234
Thats it.
