I'm having a very frustrating problem and I simply don't know what else to do. Multiple times now I've tried to work on an arrangement for a song, first analyzing it with the Audio Chord Wizard, then sending it to BiaB, (and NOT deleting the original audio file), and then working on it a bit and saving, only to find out that when I try to open it again BiaB cannot locate the audio file.

I chatted with Live Help and tried the suggestions, but they didn't work, and it was late so I didn't pursue another chat after, but here's what I tried so far: (BTW, version 2020 (734) )

1. "Return all or most to factory settings"

2. Deleting 2 files:
Mysetup.dk
intrface.bbw

3. Running program as administrator

4. Making sure the audio file name matches with the sgu file and is in the same directory.

This is the error I always get: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-le71p2YLJ4MYP3nGXHyJtl1PyqoNuG4/view?usp=sharing
Are both the audio file and the SGU located in C:\bb\Songs\Karaoke? By the message, that appears to be where the program is searching for it.

Yes.

Here are screenshots of every step in case something jumps out at someone:

Audio file to be imported (in this case the wav, but I tried it previously with the mp3. The error message in BiaB always specified a wav file) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-_qBQWntr9ex4Uzn6OrS0HpIUwOJvk37/view?usp=sharing

Sending to BiaB: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-_yYMs8z8bk4aTU1AtYAwir5vi1W8AqC/view?usp=sharing

Audio file is present in the BiaB arrangement before saving https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-cO2oIC41XVC3Vtg9t9YCQbjxBUH74_y/view?usp=sharing

The folder containing the audio file and my many attempts https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-clBo7EP8Jw0qE2nr5u7qUp2wfHFU-os/view?usp=sharing
Just wanna bump this, because it seems to be a problem that should have a solution, but I have no idea what to even try next. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
Try saving the SGU file before importing the audio file. Then import the audio and save the file again. This should prompt BIAB to save the a new file with the proper name in the same directory when you either close the file or save it again and should fix the issue.

My practice is to import the file before I open the ACW.

...it worked shocked laugh

Thank you! I guess the audio needs to be imported into BiaB first. The ACW won't send the audio file along with the chords.
You're welcome. Glad you were able to get things worked out.
