After all of these years, I must admit after every crash, update and glitch, I manually reset all my BIAB / RB preferences even though I can see that they are being saved in a file somewhere. By now, I have over 50 files of saved preferences in BIAB!

So how do you load saved preferences after a crash or lock-up in BIAB?

I don't seem to recall seeing this in RB. Does RB also save preferences? Where are they located and how do you load them into RB?

Here you go...

Also, loading your preferences back requires that you saved them in the first place. You'll see the command to do that in Dan's graphic just under Load. Or, if you do Options, Return to Factory Settings, you are asked (as of the last several years) if you want to save them.

Everyone should Save their preferences when things are working as you want them to.
If you have created a backup file for RealBand, they are typically stored in C:\RealBand\RBBackup (or whatever drive letter you run the program from). You can load these backup files by going to File | Open Special | Open Backup File within RealBand.
Thanks guys, appreciate all the help on this.

Always learning something new, that's what keeps me coming back!
