As an example: If you enter "Charlie Parker Barbados" in the entry field it shows various Dixieland styles :-) for this classic 60s bebop tune. The reason seems to be the wrong decade entry "1940" for this song.
It would be fine, to have the possibility to easily edit such mistakes in the local installation or report them to PGMusic for patches.
I think it is better to report than patch locally. That way everyone benefits. The "add new songs" threads appear to be periodically viewed by PG Music so I would post database patch suggestions in the appropriate "add new song" thread.
Hi Brille,

Barbados is tagged as a bebop style, but similar styles (like dixieland) will often show up too.

As far as the decade, it was recorded in 1948, making the decade 1940s:

Charlie, just saw this thread. Why does Biab think dixiland is similar to a bebop style? Other than in a "Evolution of jazz" class bebop is bebop. A jazzer doesn't want to see dixiland on a list of bebop styles.
