Ok, let me in here.
This style was a very snug fit with the song. The only changes I made were to take out the background fiddle & add a shaker percussion loop.
I even use the "Longing" style name in the lyrics!

I really enjoyed your song. I thought the lyrics were well written and loved the uneven verse structure.

Nice song. I thought you did good arranging in the way you staggered the instruments in the intro to add interest and movement.


I've had good results with some songs alternating between the fiddle and pedal steel, wondered how it would have sounded in your song especially early in the song when the PSG first comes in.

I enjoyed this and think you did a solid job all around.
