I have a song with a 6/8 time signature that I'm trying to set up in BIAB and it doesn't work with 3/4 time. On the time signature dialog it says "For 12/8 or 6/8, use 4/4 with a triplet feel (eg. Irish).". Anyone know how to do that, or any other way to set the time signature to 6/8?

Hello Strummer911.

You may get more views and responses by posting your question in either the +++ Band-in-a-Box for Windows +++ or +++ Band-in-a-Box for Macintosh +++ forum section. This forum section is intended for PG Music to share answers to questions presented to Support or Sales.

To answer your question Band-in-a-Box natively has two time signatures, 4/4 and 3/4. Any other time signature is derived from one of those native time signatures. Filter on time signature in the Style Picker for alternatives like 6/8.

Also, everything I stated above is true for MIDI styles. Hybrid or RealTrack styles have some RealTracks where the musician plays in alternative time signatures.
