I think I know how this is SUPPOSED to work... but somehow MAKING it work eludes me... and it's a very important part of mixing.

I'd like a video that shows exactly how to use subgroups in the mixer for:

- adding effects to several related tracks at once
- grouping some tracks so they can be raised or lowered in the mix together
- any other commonly used subgroup application I'm too dumb to ask about

Providing a template file already setup with subgroups would also be helpful
Are you looking to group in the BIAB Mixer, RealBand, DAW or Stand alone hardware devices (Mixer, MultiTrack)?

Hey Charlie! Good hearing from you!

I use Real Band mostly, so that's the video I need.

But it might be easier just to get a template file that is already set up with subgroups. Once I see a working example I'll figure it out from there. I can't bve far off, but whatever I'm missing, it's enough to keep me from getting the results I want.

A video, however, would be useful to more people, and could go into depth on the reasoning behind the steps.
No problem. You can do it in any of them but each is unique from the others. Knowing you're looking for a RB solution, maybe someone will post a quick demonstration for you.
