Can anyone recommend where I can learn to create my own videos and what (if any) free software can be used with simple tutorials?

Okay - I'll look for a how to video.

Inn the meantime I found this - http://write.flossmanuals.net/introduction-to-video-editing-with-shotcut/getting-started-opening-a-file-and-adding-it-to-the-playlist-and-timeline/ which looks daunting..

Here is a neat blog post about creating a promo video show https://www.entertainersworldwide.com/blog/how-to-make-an-awesome-promo-video-and-why-you-need-one

Band in a Box has a wonderful feature that uses any BIAB file for generating soundtracks for videos. The feature is Generate Soundtrack

To open Generate Soundtracks:

From the top tool Bar; Melody\Generate Soundtrack...

Hey, you live in 2022 and have access to so many online resources. I asked about an insta reel downloader app on some forums and got multiple replies. You can google youtube bloggers, I am sure they would provide answers. Do you plan to edit videos for fun? Because there are many available free apps, but they are not suitable for professional use. If you want something more sophisticated, you would have to pay. I would have taken an online course and learned it faster with an expert if I were you. You can definitely learn it yourself, but it will take longer.

One of my best friends is a cook. She wants to become more popular by making videos and photos and posting them on Instagram. We think that will help her have more customers who will buy her cakes, and by that form, she will grow her small business. Now it is a small business, but it will definitely become much more known. One month ago, she did not have so many followers on Instagram, but now she has passed through a great progressive period. Thanks to the Internet and Instagram, possibilities helped her become more known and now sell much more than she used to do a month ago.

I found Movavi to be a decent blend of capabilities and ease of use.

Its not as sophisticated as Final Cut or whatever Adobe is flogging these days but it does allow you to put together YouTube ready videos pretty quickly. I've mostly used it with photos and BIAB/DAW audio but have done a couple with video clips.

Its not free. About $100.

Most of the vids on my personal link below are done with Movavi.

Anyway, It works for me.
