So, I see here that Callie posted a video regarding the installation of the 2019 BIAB and automatically being able to be assessed from Mixcraft as a Plug-in and operated within Mixcraft. I have watched this video several times and it just doesn't work.

Some possible problems.

1. I am using Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio. PG Music does not say what version of Mixcraft they are using?

2. 2019 BIAB you can install a 64-Bit or a 32-Bit. My Mixcraft 8 is a 32-Bit. I understand I can make the Mixcraft 8 a 32-Bit or a 64 Bit. I can also install both a 32-bit or a 64-bit 2019 BIAB.

Has anyone had this issue and what is the solution?

You can copy the plugin from C:\bb\BBPlugin\Files\32-bit to your 32bit vst folder or point Mixcraft there to scan for plugins.

Thanks Pipeline. There is no file on my computer call c:\bb\BBPlugin\Files\32-bit. I copied exactly from your post and the computer could not file any file like this. What I do see is c:\bb\BBPlugin\Files\DAWVSTPlugin.dll. There is also a VSTFXPlugin.dll. Doesn't tell me if these are 32-bit or not?

Hi Belladonna, you should be able to find 32 bit versions of the plugin in the folder Pipeline pointed to (C:\bb\BBPlugin\Files\). They will have "32" appended to the end of the file name (ex: Band-in-a-Box DAW VST Plugin32.dll). If the files are not in that folder you may need to reinstall the plugin and make sure you check the boxes for the 32-bit versions you might need. Hope this helps!

Thanks Adar. I did not see that file in the plug-in folder and I even had my computer search specifically for the file, it was not there. So, I wasn't sure what version of Mixcraft you all used when you did the "how to video" showing the plug-in with 2019 and Mixcraft? Anyway, I just upgraded to MXC9 and installed the 64-bit version. I just reinstalled the 64-bit 2019 BIAB today. Haven't tried the plug-in yet, but hopeful. I noticed at the end of the BIAB install it starts asking about the VST's and allows you to check what you have like Cakewalk, Pro Studio, etc. Mixcraft is not listed there as a DAW, anyway I just checked them all hoping that one of the VST's is compatible with Mixcraft.

Adar, I finally got it to work. I reinstalled 2019 BIAB, at the end of the install it asks what kind of DAW you have and it lists various ones like Cakewalk, Reaper, Pro-Tools, but not Mixcraft. Originally, I did not check anything because I didn't have any of those listed. This time I said what the heck and I checked all of them. As a result it put all the plug-in files in the Plug-in aax folder instead of outside the folder like it had the 1st time I installed. Now, Mixcraft can find it, works perfect. Oh, the little confusing details!!
