I'm new to this forum, and this is my first post, so please forgive me if this is in the wrong place.

I just got BiB 2020 for Mac, and am doing some recording using Logic Pro. I built the song in the BiB program, and adjusted some measures from 4/4 to 2/4 using the bar properties. No problem. The song plays exactly as it should. So I saved it, and opened Logic Pro.

I opened the song in the DAW Plug-in, generated the parts, and it played those 2/4 bars as 4/4 bars. Again, I adjusted the needed bars inside the plug-in interface using bar properties, but upon generating the parts again the 2/4 bars are still being played in 4/4.

My fix was to cut the track, remove two beats, and drag the remaining track into place. This worked well enough, but I shouldn't have had to do it in the first place.

Any ideas on how to fix this in the future?

Welcome to the Forum. Would be glad to help you except you indicate you are using the Mac version. This is a PC forum. Best to go over there and copy and paste this tread to get someones attention with a Mac. Be sure to indicate the version of the Plugin since there may be a couple different ones floating around. I don't think the Mac and PC versions are the same??

Some updates issued yesterday over there.

https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=607282&gonew=1#UNREAD

DAW Plugin Update to 2.10.9 (July 20)

"Insert" and "Delete" options in chord sheet context menu (right-click)
Tempo/time sig was sometimes appearing on first bar.
DAW playback bar highlighting was not accurate for tempo with decimal
Bars in chord sheet were not highlighting on shift-click
Chord sheet right-click was resetting highlighted bars
Changed shortcut for deleting bars from "REMOVE" to "DELETE"
Inserting/Deleting bars not working correctly in chord sheet
Undo/Redo not working in chord sheet
Text in track table not resizing automatically
Minor resizing inconsistencies for chord sheet
Pushes not working if note is lower case (ie: ^a, ^^d, etc.)
Tags should disappear for 1 chorus and reappear for multiple choruses and not be set when not active
Playback progress bar is not accurate if tags exist
Zoom in chord sheet should preserve viewed area
Plugin should check if rendered files exist and reset "generate status" upon change
"Generate Needed" should flash anytime tracks are not generated/up to date
Generating master track after other tracks does not individual tracks
Crash after entering tempo with decimal (only allow integer or round to int)
Placement of chord sheet visuals should not overlap and fit in the space given
Plugin showing irrelevant messages when bb app cannot be found
Changing total choruses during playback did not trigger "Generate Needed"
"Selected Host" in Preferences said "Unknown" if DAW not in list
The Win/Mac should be identical when it comes to the Plugin.
But I can't remember if you could type the time signature in the bar like you can the tempo T=120, tried S=2/4 but no go, maybe it was just wishful thinking ??
I made it up in BB, it imports the changes but yes plays 4/4 on the 2/4 bars as the meter display don't change.

We are looking into this issue and it should be fixed in a future patch.
Good to hear!

Any updates with the broken 2/4 meter changes in the BIAB Plugin.
I like to use 2/4 changes in songs but the Plugin does not follow the meter change.
As an example add a 2/4 bar within a song then back to a 4/4 bar then maybe another 2/4 bar and generate.
The play back does not follow correct.

I've got the latest 2020 build installed etc.

Thanks
Brian
The plugin can currently only support 4/4 and 3/4.
