What's the buffer in the preferences.
If the older BiabVST has no popping then it's something that should be fixed in next release.

842 and later generate 32-bit files, where previously it was 16-bit. I'm curious to see if this makes a difference.

I have restarted the pc since and don't get the cracking when playing within the VST.

Could find just the biab_daw_plugin_3.8.6.exe else you need to download 600meg of stuff you already have.
3.9.9 is using bbw4 841

There was no crackling with the earlier 1.4.2 before it was restarted so something has changed in the recent with the 32bit stream.

Swingbaby, I have used the plugin both on Mac and win 10 and have no issues of popping at all. I not suggesting your problem is not real, just pointing out that it may be some type of setting or something internal. I found Studio one to be the issue more often than the VSTi, or the standalone. I would go so far as to even check my cables and connections. I once had an issue that turned out to be the USB port I was using.

That is version 3.9.9 and was never released. It was used only in the beta forum for 1 day when this was issue was reported. It was replaced with v3.9.12 which fixed this problem. But I already told you that!
