Peter..
I bought this program about 6 months ago and am now just figuring out Brent's style. I'm slow I guess..Anyway, thanks for a real imformative and illustrative program. I might make a suggestion though. This program is so good that I think you should get him to do another one, mainly on his pickin' style and have several complete compositions illustrated as well, or you could upgrade this one, say ver 2. I still haven't mastered all the licks he has in the program I bought, but I am interested in cleaning up my style, that is, trying to get it as close to his as possible. I'm sure that other guitar players would enjoy this also and be willing to shell out the $40 or so to get this advanced program. Again, thanks for producing such a good product. It far surpasses the other two Guitar Star programs. Keep on keeping on...David

Yep...Brent's a top shelf picker alright! Sure would be great to have some more choice for lead guitar in ballads and rock oriented directions though. Brent's forte is fast country....nobody can beat him in that idiom.Suggest you listen to Albert Lee and Vince Gill too. Vince can really burn up the fingerboard! Very clean and tasty player...highly under rated. Have you heard James Burton on Emmy Lou's "OOO Las Vegas"? Some serious pickin' goin' on there! For rock I think that guy in Pink Floyd is a more effective school of playing...Clapton....etc...it's not necessary to play as if you're about to be shot ALL the time.
