My old Protools LE will not run on my new Windows 7 computer but PTPA 2013 does just fine. Is it possible to use my Digidesign 002 rack mount hardware as the audio interface device for PTPA? If not could you suggest a hardware interface that will allow me to record audio into PTPA 2013 on my Windows 7 machine? I usually record only one or two instruments or microphones at a time. However, on occasion I do record 4 outputs from a Tyros 2 keyboard onto separate tracks ( sub out 1, sub out 2, stereo R and Stereo L).
Thanks,
Deaton

I gave up on Protools for now. But, since my Digidesign 002 hardware and 2 firewire hard drives seemed to be working well on my old Windows XP computer, I decidided to install PTPA on that machine and wonders of all wonders it works great. PTPA recognizes
the Digi 002 and allows me to use either of the external firewire drives as my recording medium.
Thanks,
DVJ
