I'd like to be able to control the record on/off function with my Line 6 footswitch. Where can I find the midi cc for this function?

I don't think there is one.

That would be cool though if someone knew of one.

Now I am checking with Line 6 to see if keystroke combinations are programmable.
The issue I am having is that I have a keyboard right next to my PC and I have to twist all over the place to click on the record icon. It would be much easier to just be able to press a footswitch...

Rather than trying to click the mouse, have you tried just pressing the "R" button on the keyboard? That's what I often do (my keyboard is to the right of my computer desk, so I just reach over and press R, rather than trying to hit a button with the mouse.

And of course you can use space bar to stop the recording.
