The Audio is recording data shows up nice and big and bold on the track display and then I get the choice to keep the take or discard the take - I choose to keep the take and then ...
My recorded data disappears - once again I'm looking at a blank track - what am I doing wrong?

What do the recording meters show while recording?

Is the track set to audio?

The meter (It's Mono) fills the green zone with also a bit in the Yellow - just trying to keep it out of the red.

I think I've located my problem area ...
I got a new audio interface (Roland Studio Capture) a while back and so far have not used it with this DAW. I set it up to record the Bass on Channel 3 and experienced the problem described. Today I re-configured for channel 1 and do not now experience the problem. I haven't yet figured why I had the problem on channel three and not on channel one - but the problem is probably "Cockpit Error". I'll follow-up when I have time.
