I get tired of hunting for the 2 files to delete so used a long lost tool. The .bat file. Here's what you do.
1. open up note pad
2. Copy/paste both of the next lines into note pad:
Code:

del c:\RealBand\RB.CFG
del c:\RealBand\RealBand.INI

3. Do a "save as" to your desk top. Name it RB Factory Reset
4. Right click on the file on your desk top and change the extension from txt to bat. In other words, RB Factory Reset.bat
5. Ignore the warning
6. Now double clicking on this new RB Factory Reset.bat file will delete those 2 files from the RB folder.
You can even put the file down in the tray for easy access.
BTW this assumes you have RB in the default location. If you don't just change the above code to reflect the actual path to those files on your machine.
great idea John! Thanks for posting

Now that you mention it, there may be other configuration options in RB that require the editing of obscure files. Maybe if people add their knowledge about which files change which things, we could come up with more simplified solutions.
