Here are some tips to improve the ACW tempo analysis if you experience an issue with the tempo beats per minute (bpm) doubling during a portion of a song.

Split files with multiple time signature audio into multiple audio files with each segment limited to audio of one time signature.

Use the F8 key to locate the beginning of each song section, verse1, verse 2, chorus, outro and so on. Many people use F8 to manually locate the beginning of each bar inducing error into the ACW tempo analysis.

Credit for these tips go to a nameless YouTube video, my brother for bringing the tips to my attention and Matt Finley for suggesting I post the tips.
Thank you, Jim. Very useful tips.
Good tip, but keep in mind if the audio file has a constant tempo (played to a click or a very good drummer), there is no need to save a tempo map. Just input the tempo once the chords are generated and click - "do not save tempo map".

I learned this the hard way.
