Using Band in a Box under Linux:
There's an Internet article here that some Linux users might find useful

I'm not a 'power' Linux user, and haven't used it for BiaB so cannot verify, but the link maybe useful for others.

Hi Trev,

Interesting article.

A few years ago, I successfully ran BIAB in Ubuntu using Wine. I couldn't get Realtracks and Realdrums to work, though. MIDI was fine. I needed to load a soundfont of general midi sounds each time I loaded BIAB.

I haven't played around with it since that time.

Regards,
Noel

Sounds similar to the Linux topic active in Off Topic.
John came up with a good idea about converting the WMA files to WAV files

That's worth a try for sure.
Steve, yes, it got here because there was a suggestion that an item in Tips and Tricks might be useful for someone searching this subject in the future.
