My setup:

PreSonus iOStation 24c updated current drivers, Windows 10 updated currently, BIAB updated currently.

Problem static. I was assuming I needed to change the block size setting. Nothing worked.

Solution: remove the wireless keyboard and mouse and replace it with a wired one. No more static. Not sure why it worked but an easy solution!

Make sure you have it plugged in a rear usb port directly on the motherboard.

Yep, I've also had this problem with wireless keyboards and mice. Not sure why, but I've gone wired only these days.

Another thing that might help, turn off bluetooth. Won't help with the static but on my system sure helps with dropouts because bluetooth is constantly searching for a connection.

If you can examine the USB ports to see which shares which interrupts, it’s possible to discover combinations that don’t cause this kind of interference. But who wants to take the effort to do that?
