Ok, suddenly midi playback in RB is extremely choppy. Memory is fine (brand new 80GB hard drive). Worked fine before this sudden change. All files are affected, BIAB plays fine. Currently using the Forte dxi for playback.

Could I have just accidently checked some box somewhere?

1st try a reboot of the computer to get lost resources back.

Forte uses up RAM to work, if you revisit the Forte during a session, it reloads again without clearing the RAM.

80g hard drive isn't very large, you may have to defrag more often if you are using RealTracks.

Reboot doesn't work (been through several) and no Real Tracks in use.

The drive has 80% free space.

BIAB works just fine with Forte and Real Tracks.

Strange how this just happened so suddenly. As I mentioned, it had been working fine until recently.

I'll try to reinstall.
