My Realband kept giving me an message when I booted up about it causing windows to shutdown improperly...asked if I wanted to reset things, so I did. Big mistake. Haven't used RB in a while so I don't remember what the correct audio settings are...whether to use MME or ASIO, etc. Regardless, everything seemed to be working fine. I recorded a jingle for a contest but when I merged the tracks to a WAV file, I got two seconds of what sounded like the effects hadn't started, then an audible "pop" and the track sounded normal. Any thoughts? Thanks. And if you could give me a quickie setup rundown again, I'd appreciate it. I don't have a soundcard although I use an audio interface (Focusrite Saffire 6) to record. Not sure what that tells you. Thanks again!
I have a Saffire 6 myself. Love it.

I would say you should use the provided ASIO driver with your unit. It definately works better than MME for me. I think you'll find that's the reason you are getting the delay.
