When I go to merge two or more audio tracks to a blank track in Real Band, the resulting track is much lower in amplitude or gain than each of the two merged tracks. Each track is approx. -12 db, and when merged, the merged track is about -24 db. This is apparent in the waveforms as well as the meter at the top of the screen. Any ideas what is happening and can I correct it?

Thanks, Paul

Not in front of my computer right now and doing this from memory: To bring volume back up on the merged track, highlight the whole track, left-click on it and select Gain Change - Normalize.

You can right click on the volume slider and add 12

Thanks for the merge audio tracks reply. The gain change suggestion worked just fine. Also, moving the slider 12 db would work in this case, but not all tracks are in that range.

thanks, Paul
