Just purchased an Irig Keys midi controller.
Found bad latency when building a song midi file in Power Tracks 2016.
Tried ASIO but unable to play and record at same time.

Bit the bullet and tried RealBand 2018 with its WAS driver.
Wow!! Play and record works fine with almost undetectable latency on the keys input.

Thanks for relating your findings. Yes the WAS driver is a very welcome addition.

Glad RB is working for you but there's no problem with PT, all you missed is checking the box "ASIO always on" in the audio drivers window. Do that and you can hear and record at the same time. It's the same thing with RB if you use ASIO but as you found out WAS is just as good.

I play 4 days a week and prefer PT. Less resources etc. More stable.
Create songs in RB.
