Windows 7...Tascam Interface US 144MKii...AUDIO LATENCY - 08/27/18 09:15 AM
Only 2 tracks...background audio track.... & audio guitar solo.
When i play the solo it feels fine....but playback lags and drags.
Exact same issue as Dai Harris's post.
Tried all the PG audio drivers, changed buffers to no avail....Latest Tascam drivers installed and Tascam says it shouldn't have issues. Thanks.
FOLLOW UP...With KENT advising,I was able to get "normal latency" to work on the Tascam...but no better...and the "slap back" time delay (??ms) is still not good enough for an overdub. So i ordered a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 which arrives tomorrow. I will report.
