With all the recent flack about...ohhh...real drums don't sound so real, huh, huh, huh????l....and, I'm thinking to myself, listen to some live cats playing real tracks live on good equipment....KNOCK YO SOCKS OFF, BABY!!

So I was gettin' so frustrated about the supposed quality of recorded sounds using the real tracks, and, to top it off I had just listened to a couple of tunes Carlos created for his Website....again to knock the visitor's cotton-picken-guitar-picken socks off..."Smooth Blues" and "Scarlatin" (the first two on his large sampling of PG-inspired music!! ( http://www.carlosarellano.com/music/ )

These two creations will jump right out of your IPod and grab your eardrums with intense, swinging musicianship...especially if you like to keep that headset dialed up real good! You hear him playin' his Goodin Jazz/Midi Ax, hear him out Wessing Wes with his unison vocal bopping, and hear the clarity and detailed mastering of his arrangements....that's it...... it's just about the nicest groove sounds ya gonna hear in a Kentucky Moon!! Compliments of great Real Tracks, Drums, Basses, Guitars, Horns, Keyboards and a partridge in a pear tree!

No wonder this cat has decided to join up with the other "first call" ranchhands at the PG Double-Bar Cool Dudes Ranch!!

Damn, I gots to go back to that phone and lullabye myself to sleep with Eduardo's rippling riffs. Long live Lexicon!!!
And, check out that new video of Carlos, his Gooden Accordian (ha!) and his unison voicing with "Frenchy's Squeeze Box!!

My guitar teacher always taught me to be able to sing what I played. Carlos is all over this concept.

Very cool, as as always, for our boy Carlos.

Very good advice for any aspiring musician of any kind.

Learn to sing it, then learn to make your instrument "sing" it.
