How do I cut 1 beat from all tracks of a tune in Real Tracks and shift all the music back one beat ie close the gap
peedaagee,

Just to get a bit more information...

Are you wanting to turn a 4/4 bar into a 3/4 bar?

If the above is correct, it would be simplest to set the bar you want to 3/4 and then set the following bar to 4/4 and regenerate the song's tracks. Simply chopping a beat out can be problematic in that audio errors can arise because the gap doesn't close in a musically correct way (like it does when generation is performed).

Noel
Snap to beat,cut/close gap.Snap is in track view at the top of the instrument list. Cut is on the tool bar..
It's 3/4 but the midi I've got starts on the second beat so all the music (no audio just midi) has shifted along 1 beat if I can cut out the first blank beat and shift all the rest back one the music will line up OK and will read properly.

Thanks for the reply
You could go to the piano roll editor for each track, do a CTRL+A to highlight all the notes and drag them to the left where the first beat is.
Eureka!!! That Fixed it perfectly Many
Thanks Great Work
