Can you limit the octave of a real track? I'm working on an eight note driving section of a song and it randomly chooses the octave. This has it sound less driving and more polka-ish than I would prefer.

I know ultimately I could copy and paste, but thought I would ask.

Not that I know of.
If it were me I'd (you guessed it) use multiriffs to generate a few tracks to comp from.
Makes the copy/paste routine a little better sometimes, but it is still copy/pasta

What's a song without a little production work? <grin>
