When I open RB, I have it start in the Track Mode. But if I minimize the track mode, I can see that RB also loaded the bar settings map, the tempo map, the SYSex app, the guitar app, the mixer, the meter map, the classic track views app and the chord display.

Are all of these really needed? Is there a way to only load certain ones on startup? I have never used some of these in over 10 years.

By eliminating some of these would RB start faster or are they pre-programed in and any change would crash the program?

Its not that I am resourced constrained or need faster startups....but I am curious as to why they all load on startup.

I am pretty sure they are baked in. Been there a long time, most came in from PT back in the day.
That's not saying this isn't a good question/idea.
I'm just guessing they are deep in the code pile now.
RealBand uses around 67mb of memory for me on startup. I'm not sure making any changes to what windows are loaded up by default would make any tangible increase in performance.
