My recorded track is about 1/2 second behind the other tracks when recording or playback. I know it might have something to do latency or sampling rates but I do not know how to correct the problem. My setup is:

Windows 10, Real Banl 2018
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2
Audio drivers: input=Analog Focsurite 2+2; output=HD audio speaker
output buffer miliseconds 400

Thanks for help..
First question, does the lag stay the same, or does it continue to lose time? If it stay the same and keeps up then you just have an alignment issue. hold the shift button and with a mouse click and hold drag the audio into alignment.

If it continues to fall behind then check the following.

Look in your audio app for the Focusrite, check if your at 44,100 or 48,000 Then go into the RB preferences and make sure it is set t he same.
Thanks Bob.
I change it from 44100 to 48000 but RB changes back to 44100..
I have downloaded scarlett software few times but no success.. I wonder if RB is unstable with windows 10 or should I upgrade to 2022 version?
RB is stable with Windows 10 and 11
What audio driver are you using?
RB is changing it back probably because your song already has tracks at 44100.

Are you using the ASIO drivers for the Focusrite audio?
In Audio tab does it say ASIO or MME?
With Focusrite I use ASIO
I suggest running at 44,100 with everything for now. Both the ASIO and RB. I have RB on win 10 with a Presonus ASIO setup and it is solid for me.

re; output=HD audio speaker
the above troubles me. looks me like your output driver is useing your on board pc sound device rather than the
focusrite stereo outs which your speakers should be connected to.
normal the protocol on pro usb devices is ...
manufacturers name included in the driver definition.
only way to know is please do following.
1. navigate to rb audio drivers tab in prefs.
2. post 4 pics back please.
a. one being the main audio drivers screen.
clik drivers and post back pic.
b. select asio then post back the list of drivers available for focusrite. a pic.
c. now as back up select windows audio WAS and post a pic of that driver screen.
d. additionally in win devices post pics of recording and playback selection.

the above will help us all help you in an educated fashion with no guessing.
i suspect the incorrect driver selection is the cause of the out of sync problem. but please post info requested.

merry xmas.
