I got a new computer, and with the help of this forum and customer support finally got RB up and running.
I had Forte dxi on my old computer, and it was my go to synth. It appears to be missing. Any thoughts on how I can reload it, or are there better sounding options I should buy?
I assume you mean "Coyote Forte dxi". That was the original and best sounds. The Forte Dxi was a free substitue (and worth what you paid) which I am sure PGM provides a free installer which someone can point you to.
Unfortunately, Coyote Forte dxi was not free and it was only 32 bit so kind of dissappeared when BIAB went to 64 bit. Now if that is the case I may have a fix for you but first please confirm my assumptions are right?
My RB is an older version, 2016. As I recall I purchased the Forte for about $40. It wasn’t labeled coyote, but that was long ago.
1-Any free soundfont player and free soundfonts are in many cases equal to or better than the Forte:
https://hiphopmakers.com/best-free-soundfont-players-vst-pluginHere is are GM soundfonts that you can use with the above players:
https://archive.org/details/500-soundfonts-full-gm-setshttps://www.veekeysvi.com/p/vee-keys-gm-soundfont-bank.html2-a better solution for many 64 bit Biab users is Cakelwalk's TTS-1, a complete GM softsynth:

The trouble with big lists of, e.g., soundfonts, it that there's too much choice.
I tend to use three:
Timbres Of Heaven
Compifont
JJazzLab-soundfont
all of which should show up quickly via a search. YMMV.
Second vote for TTS it is a pretty good choice for basic and solid midi sounds
yet another vote for the tts - its free and it's the synth PG use to test their midi styles
