Easy highlighting multiple tracks from Bar X to Bar Y

I often need an easy way to highlight multiple wave tracks for cutting, say from bar 475 to bar 603 to make a new project consisting of this section alone!

Highlite it on one track, then hold ctrl and click on the number of the other tracks you want to include.

Or select first track, highlight section - go to last track and use Ctrl + Shift to add all the tracks between first and last.

The problem I have is when the bars are outside the range of one screen. As soon as I scroll off the screen it ROCKETS to the end of the song, like from 61 to 340 in one screen flash. Smoother scrolling would be great.

It may be there and I don't know, but I would often find it useful to have "Select from this bar THROUGH that bar." Note I didn't say TO that bar. but THROUGH that bar, meaning "through the END of that bar." Can I do that somewhere in command line when I know the bar range I want to regen?
