it would be useful to have the ability to insert a MIDI track containing the chords, sustained.

Such a track could be used in a variety of ways (adding strings, providing chords for a vocal processor's harmonies or pitch correction etc etc)

Especially the usage for vocal harmonies sounds like music in my ears.

This feature seems to be already supported -> just create a track selecting styles such as Pnosimp4 ...
