When I want to tweak plugin settings I can see what fx are enabled but the preset I used isn't shown - just the settings so if at a later date I want to audition different presets the only way to get back to what I had is to close the file ad reopen without saving.

Suppose I could add preset choices to the memo but that's an extra effort and I'd probably forget. Would be useful if the chosen preset could be recorded for when I want to re-edit later.

Maybe try Save/Load Group (?)
This saves a group of plugins with their settings for later recall

I can do that rharv but sometimes i use the PG presets and if i could identify a preset by name rather than just see the parameters it would help

Yeah, that would be a nice addition, as well as prompt to Save As if the basic preset was changed.

PG FX are long overdue.
