I've been in touch with the support people via email but they do not seem to understand my problem.

I have installed BIAB 2018 to my Macbook Pro via download. The problem is that I am missing the following things from my install:

  • Styles Disks : 5 ,6 ,8 ,9 ,11 ,13 ,14 ,15 ,17 ,18 ,19 ,20 ,22 ,23 ,24 ,25 ,29 ,30 ,31 ,32 ,33 ,34 ,35 ,36 ,37 ,38 ,41 ,43 ,45 ,47 ,55 ,56 ,59 ,65 ,68 ,69 ,71 ,72 ,73 ,74 ,75 ,76 ,77
  • Soloist Disk Sets : 2 KillerJazz,3 SpJazz,4 Rock,5 Bluegrass,6 OlderJazz,7 Blues&Pop,8 Waltzes,9 BluesGtr,10 Ballads,11 Trumpet,16 Sax,17 TBone,18 SoundTrk,19 ModJazzEv8,20 CampFire/Children’s


The support people agree that they are missing and that they should have all of the styles and soloist sets.

I was also told by the support people to "go to Help > Utilities > Run Download/Install Manager." But this does not appear to exist in the Mac OS version (at least I couldn't find it). I was clear to them that I am doing a Mac install.

I am surprised that the website does not appear to list what is contained in the various install files. I do not have the time to reinstall everything (and I shouldn't have to).

Does anyone here know which install files that I need to reinstall?

I should also add that I carefully installed every one of the packages sent to me so this is the result of a "misfire" in the installation packages.

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion. The things you list there are MIDI styles and soloists. All of the MIDI components of the program are just installed with the main Band-in-a-Box installer since they are small in size. In your case, they would be part of the Band-in-a-Box 2016 Full installation. Since your upgrade is a pluspak, that will install all of the NEW things since the previous year. So I would recommend that you install "Band-in-a-Box 2016 Full", followed by the Upgrade installers.
